Obama event at Viaduc de Millau

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Here are some photos. It was an interesting day and we met many Americans of the type we like. We don’t usually go to expat things because we usually find them annoying but this group was nice.

Here is a link to a Flickr slideshow the organizer put together.

Here is a link to a Hub Pages article I wrote about it.

Le Viaduc de Millau is really spectacular though, go if you get the chance.

Bob Spencer: Le Rêve Francais

Monday, May 12th, 2008

A regular reader and commenter Bob Spencer. In his own words . . .

A francophile who occasionally gets to live le Rêve Français. Although like most dreams, sometimes the reality isn’t quite the stuff of which dreams are made.

Toulouse France photos week of May 5th, 2008

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

I have decided to start a weekly photo gallery. I take a lot of photos during the week. I get overwhelmed when I think about downloading them all, editing some, organizing and creating a post about some of them, etc. I will include photos of note in posts still but the majority will just go into a weekly “photo dump”. I will dump all the photos from my cameras and upload them to the blog each Sunday night. If you have a question add it to the comments and I will reply.

The inaugural edition of the Weekly Photo Dump
