Hello there, nice joke, you sound like someone I know. I know 3 people that still tell really silly blond jokes, hmmmmm. I never heard another word about this and since I have been to Paris since, I know it is not true, but the design drawings were quite impressive.

Hello there, Happy Fool’s Day!

A State Trooper pulls a car over on a lonely back road and approaches the blonde lady driver.
“Mam, is there a reason that you’re weaving all over the road?”
The woman replied, “Oh officer, thank goodness you’re here!! I almost had an accident! I looked up and there was a tree right in front of me. I swerved to the left and there was another tree in front of me. I swerved to the right and there was another tree in front of me!”

How bizarre (but then how French!) to post a tribute to the Eiffel Tower using fanciful photographs & drawings that barely relate to it, and then make no mention of that in the accompanying article.

Those photos and plans were from April 1, 2009. I didn’t realize it until after I posted it. I think it is an April Fools joke, poisson d’Avril. Maybe not, but no one has been able to confirm one way or the other. It doesn’t currently look like this, but are these really the plans for it?
