If you carefully at the top right portion of my blog there is an orange RSS symbol with text next to it that says Subscribe . This is my RSS feed. I know many of you are not computer savvy and don’t know what that means so I’ve included a video from Common Craft called RSS in Plain English to explain it. The easiest way for me to explain it is that if you started to read blogs and then there were 10-15 blogs you found that you really like, it saves you time. How does it save you time? You sign up for a free feed reader and instead of going to each blog separately, which takes a lot of time, you sign into your feed reader site and the content from all your favorite blogs is displayed there. You only have to go to one place to read any number of blogs you like. You tell the reader the URL of the blogs you’d like to read and it gets the content for you. The only downside is that when you read blogs in readers you can’t click on the ads to help support your favorite bloggers ;-).
