Monday and it’s off to the Pyrenees

Central Pyrenees, as seen from the summit of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre.Image from WikipediaThis week I am accompanying my students for a full week of English classes in the Pyrenees. We will stay at a lodge in a remote village. From what I understand there is nothing around so it is just us, English, and the mountains. It will be a nice break. 13 students and 2 teachers. For this reason I will not be able to respond to any comments or emails. With the help of the date stamp feature I can “write posts” for this week and have them posted on each day of the week even though I will not have internet access. I can keep my New Year’s Resolution. Spring is fully here and I hope it has arrived for all of you so get outside and see the sun. I’ll be back Friday afternoon.

  1. Have a great time!

  2. Don’t take offense, but that seems like the perfect formula for boredom. I think I’ve already mentioned that I’m not a country boy. I spent too many years in the country and couldn’t wait to get to the “big” city. I wouldn’t want to go back for anything beyond an hour or two.

  3. Well I am not exactly a country boy myself but from time to time I don’t mind being sequestered for a few days with very little to do but read, eat, sleep, rest, oh yeah and work a little.

I had a great time and the students were very funny and interesting. They were a very wide range of ages which was nice from 21 to I’m guessing 40 or so.
