La Dordogne restaurant
Here are the missing photos of the restaurant we went to. I knew we had more than 1 photo. Here are the others. Now I am not above telling you I often color correct images on this blog in Photoshop, but these images were taken on my HTC Touchscreen phone, at night, with little light, and absolutely no editing. Sometimes it just works. The restaurant we cannot remember the name of but it was between Siorac and Belves. Copper usually calls it the hotel restaurant, whatever that means, I didn’t see a hotel. The food was excellent and the grounds were spectacular, and yes it is possible to have bad food in France, but here the food was spectacular.
I assume there is a sign, or someone told you where to find this place, because to my eye there is no indication whatsoever that it is a restaurant.
We were staying with a friend who lives there. He took us. The restaurant proper is a little to the left, not in the picture. There is however no sign I think. You certainly would not know if it was a restaurant or a hotel if you were not directed there. I guess they do alright without the sign, it was busy.
