If you did something over and over and it proved to be ineffective, would you continue to do it? What if it also cost you lots of money, would you still continue to do it? As the US economy continues to tank, maybe someone will be brave enough to pose the right questions. Whether you are for or against the use of drugs, it is not possible to say “the war on drugs” has been effective.

Well I don’t think enough Americans actually believe how deep drug money runs. I know “The Wire” was just a show but it was based on real life investigations. It touches politics, development, unions, etc. They think it is limited in scope only to criminal enterpriises. I guess politics, developers, and unions are criminal enterprises.
