See, that just kind of annoys me. Now everytime Sarko goes out in public, there’s going to be some comedian who’s going to try to shun him in public so he/she can get on TV and get their 15 minutes of fame.
On the other hand, since his approval rating is down to about 35 percent, maybe they really don’t want to talk to him. Of course, I would think that in France, her action would be considered quite rude.
Maybe he staged the whole thing just to garner sympathy. Everybody hates me, I’m so pathetic. It’s strange because I know his approval rating is down but here in Toulouse it is rare that I hear people say anything nice abut him and this is a center right city. Where were his strongholds of power? What do they think of him now?
Sometimes this is very pathetic… fun, but boring now. I think that the French President has a lot of work to do now to get back at higher levels of popularity! Even Segolene Royal, who miserally lost last year, is now coming back in the limelight. Not to talk of Francois Hollande, that most boring man in the world…

I guess it is boring now that it had been recorded so many times. I think you might get arrested in the US if you did that or at least the press wouldn’t shoot the footage and release it as news.
I’m sorry I think Jacques Chirac is the most boring man in the world. If he comes back from the dead candidate party then I’ll really be worried.
I am no fan of Sarkozy but something strange strikes me though. I think lots of people in France want economic stimulus and so they think they want change, but when he tries to make some changes the French get bent way out of shape. I don’t know what the solution is but I think the French are extremely resistant to change. This will make it nearly impossible for any president to make some of the kinds of changes that are needed to begin to transform the economy here.
