Wow, Gerard Depardieu, visited my blog, mdr! I’d like to see you dance the tecktonik. I think it was a bit new but like 2 years ago. Sure there may have been some similarities to some dancing at rave’s but it’s not the same. Maybe the jump style dance, but the elastic-y dancing, i don’t know, maybe.

Well I don’t think it is beautiful like ballet but it is a dance. Remember people thought modern painters like the impressionists were crappy painters because their paintings weren’t realistic. People thought Miles
Davis just made a bunch of noise. Isadora Duncan was bringing about the death of dance with this modern stuff. Now these people are revered. Even rap now, like it or hate it, has reached tremendous acceptance,even though most people thought it wouldn’t last 5 years. Mostly I think it is amusing to see and I wanted to start covering current trends in France, most of us in France have been seeing it in the news a lot lately so I thought I’d feature it.
