A Walk in the Jardin Royal
Toulouse is a beautiful city. There are many unexpected joys of living here. One of the only things we liked about living in Philadelphia was Fairmount Park. It is a 9,000 acre park in the middle of the city. It was a paradise, one often filled with litter but still a joy. Well we don’t have 9,000 acres, more like 20, but it is very well taken care of and there is no trash anywhere. This park is called the Jardin Royal, which is near the Grand Rond and Jardin des Plantes. It is right in the center of the city and perfect for a brief respite in the center of a city. I know what it means so I won’t spoil the fun…
It really has nothing to do with The Jardin Royal except that it was on a billboard as you “crossed” the street to enter the park.
I’m also a firm believer in graphic communication or at least non-verbal. For those that can’t understand the words, can you figure it out with the picture? I couldn’t, of course now I see it too, but still think it is not so clear.
And the walk to the park is quite nice in and of itself.
