Here is the vegetable garden
White eggplant anyone? It is strange, the skin is white, but when you cook it the flesh is that slightly brownish eggplant color. I’d like to know what the difference is. our ratatouille from last night was superb, even if I still cannot pronounce it very well. Jean-Jacques is a very demanding teacher.
Here is some basil, it is actually quite a lot of basil. If you live in the area please stop by for some. It is terribly expensive in the stores, but you can have it for free, or at least for 10 minutes of conversation.
This never got posted, i just noticed it was labeled as a draft. Oh well here it is. This was from our vegetable garden in Philadelphia. Well now that we are moving to Toulouse and will have a large terraace on the top floor we will be able to have a container garden. Tomatoes and such next summer. That is about all we want now, our Philadelphia garden was very pretty but too large. We need something more manageable.
